We had a very comfortable bed(we had a very recharging sleep in it) and comfortable pillows. Modern bathroom. The TV was big and very well positioned relative to the bed so we could enjoy watching the Euro 2024 final. It is very well positioned, close to the train station and the old town. The room was really quiet due to the fact that we had an extra door separating the sleeping room from the hallway leading to the bathroom and the exit. We've enjoyed also the small square in front of the hotel.

A nice thriving hotel with a good bar and outdoor facilities/cafe and clearly catering to the bike scene which is a good thing. Nice finishes and touches throughout , a very generous good bed and reasonably well located in walking distance [unless you are not good at walking] from all the sites in Girona. Walking distance from the Train station.

the room was big and very pretty, the bathroom was like a spa. The parking was easy to get in and out of and we got a discount with the hotel. We arrived late because of bad traffic and the onsite restaurant was so good and convenient. I wish we had more time to try more food. The breakfast room was so pretty with beautiful views of a garden out of every window. The food at breakfast was excellent.

The location of this hotel was perfect to visit Girona for about two days. It is positioned in the direct vicinity (perhaps a 5-min walk) to the railway station and within an enjoyable 10-15-min walk from the historical downtown. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to - finally - hear Catalan (and not only Spanish/Castellano) during this trip over Catalonia also amongst the employees of the hotel. The room was fairly simple and, frankly, quite outdated on its looks, furniture and devices. Yet the price / quality correlation was reasonable. Overall, I found my stay in the room very convenient and pleasant. I am grateful for a bathrobe too.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to find us a room as soon as we arrived but unfortunately we arrived at about 11.30 am and there were none available. However, they looked after our luggage until we returned a few hours later. We were first given a room with a shower over bath but when we enquired whether they had any rooms with a walk-in shower they changed it straightaway. Fabulous shower, spacious bathroom - enough room to put toiletries etc and big, fluffy towels. The room was a good size, had a mini bar, very comfy bed and a number of pillows of different shapes and sizes. There was a good amount of hanging space and the aircon worked well. There was also a safe. There must also be very good sound proofing as there was never any noise of other bathrooms or other guests walking on the corridors or on the floor above. A bonus was the soft-close doors on the rooms which ensured that doors did not bang. The hotel has a very nice restaurant, Indigo, where you can enjoy meals inside or out. The food is very good. It also serves late into the evening. There is also a bar/restaurant which serves during the day but closes earlier in the evening. The bus and train station are only a 5 or 6 minute easy walk away and the hotel is well situated for both the old and the new town. The bus to and from the airport runs regularly - or at least ties in with arrivals and departures of flights and costs 2.5 euros each way. This is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Carlemany and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Girona.

Excellent location with a short walk into the old city over the river. Positioned in a popular, modern square with the main road into the city. Bedroom and bathroom were large. Staff were extremely helpful. The food for dinner was delicious. There were comfortable areas in which to sit

The location was great...just a few minute walk from the old town! The room was very clean and adequate. The staff at the front desk were helpful!

Friendly and efficient check-in process - they were even able to check us in one hour early. Bathroom was fresh and spotless with a large shower and nice bath linens. Bed was firm and extremely comfortable. Room very spacious by European standards. AC functioned well, nice high-speed WiFi. Easy walk (5-10 minutes) to old town Girona, plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Very easy / short walk from train station.

Spacious and nice room - similar to photos on booking. Comfortable bed and pillows selection! very nice bed lining. Nice and spacious bathroom with comfortable switcher of the light(per zone).

Spotless room. I didn't have any meals in the hotel, nor did I partake of the minibar. The location was excellent and a short stroll from the train and bus stations. It was also a short stroll to the central tourist attractions e.g. Cathedral, bascillica, jewish quarter, castle walls, river
